Our Mission

We exist because they can't speak for themselves.

Dubai Nine Lives Rescue was founded by a group of passionate volunteers who saw the scale of suffering on Dubai's streets — and refused to look away. Every cat we save starts a chain reaction of love.

Rescue First

Every cat gets urgent medical care before anything else.

TNR Campaigns

We Trap, Neuter & Return community cats.

Daily Feeding

We feed over 300 cats every day in our registered colonies.

Direct Adoptions

All our cats are based in Dubai and adopted directly from our Dubai foster home to forever homes globally.

Cat Sanctuary in Dubai

A Day in Our Sanctuary Hub

Our home-based foster sanctuary in Dubai runs on a tight, loving schedule to ensure clinical health and happy minds.

08:00 AM - Cleaning & Feed Run

Deep sanitation of all play zones and individual cabins using Virkon S. Litter boxes sifted, and fresh wet/dry food served to our fosters.

10:30 AM - Clinical & Meds Round

Administration of oral medicines, ear cleans, and tracking healing charts. Coordination of veterinary clinic drop-offs for scheduled appointments.

02:00 PM - Socialization & Playtime

Volunteers spend time socializing shy or traumatized cats. Feather toys, lasers, and slow blinks help build trust with humans.

08:00 PM - Wind-down & Night Feed

Final feeding round, brushing coats, and logging food/drink volumes. Feliway diffusers activated, lights dimmed for a peaceful night's rest.

Volunteer Feeding Stray Cats

Humane Population Control: Our TNR Guide

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the only proven, humane way to manage the street cat population in Dubai.

01

Colony Audit

We trace neighborhood colonies, evaluate breeding rates, identify sick individuals, and schedule humane trapping schedules.

02

Humane Trapping

Using specialized metal trigger traps and high-odor canned foods, community cats are trapped safely and stress-free.

03

Clinic Sterilization

A vet performs spay/neuter surgery, ear-tips the left ear (the global stray indicator), and vaccinates them against rabies.

04

Recovery & Return

After 24-48 hours recovery in our cages under supervision, they are released back to their familiar outdoor territory.

Volunteer Voices

"Fostering street kittens in Dubai and seeing them go from wild, terrified babies to purring, happy pets is incredible. Helping prepare these rescues for their journey to forever homes globally is a beautiful reward for all the hard work we put in!"

Dubai Foster & Rescuer

"Being part of the feeding and cleaning campaigns for stray cat colonies in Dubai is extremely rewarding. We make sure the colonies are clean, hygienic, and that every cat is fed. Seeing the direct impact of our work on the street cats' health is why I volunteer."
