Who we are
Dubai Nine Lives Rescue is a community of devoted volunteers who refuse to look away from the suffering of stray cats. We operate entirely out of our specialized foster home and cat sanctuary in Dubai, providing urgent medical care, rehabilitation, and endless love to abandoned and injured felines.

Our mission is simple yet vital: to rescue the most vulnerable street cats, provide them with top-tier veterinary care and a safe healing environment, and ultimately match them with loving, forever homes across the globe. We believe every cat, no matter their past, deserves a future.
Our Vision
We envision a world where the streets are free of suffering felines, where TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) is universally adopted, and where every cat is valued as a sentient being deserving of a warm bed and a full bowl.
Why Dubai Nine Lives Rescue was created
The organization was born out of a profound heartache for the unseen victims of the streets. When our founders recognized the sheer volume of abandoned and injured cats struggling to survive in the UAE climate, they realized that individual efforts weren't enough. Dubai Nine Lives Rescue was created to provide a structured, high-impact rescue operation that could truly change lives on a larger scale.
We saw the systemic issues—overpopulation, abandonment, and the immense pressure on local vet clinics. We started this rescue because these cats needed an organized voice. We wanted to build a sanctuary that prioritized dignity, high-quality medical care, and a reliable path to a forever home, no matter where in the world that home might be.
Our Rescue Philosophy
We operate on a "rescue first, ask questions later" basis when a life is on the line. We believe in holistic care—treating not just the physical ailments, but also the emotional trauma. We never give up on a cat that has the will to live, regardless of the medical costs.
What makes us different
Unlike traditional shelters, our rescues live in a home-based sanctuary environment. This allows us to intimately understand their personalities, build trust, and ensure they are perfectly socialized before adoption. Furthermore, our global reach means we don't just look for homes locally; we facilitate direct adoptions worldwide, ensuring our cats find the absolute perfect match.
Our Rescue Journey
It started with a single stray kitten. What was meant to be a one-time rescue quickly opened our eyes to the harsh reality faced by street cats in the UAE. From midnight feeding rounds to converting our living rooms into neonatal kitten nurseries, our personal journey rapidly evolved into a full-scale rescue mission.
